Horizon Science Academy Dayton Elementary School is looking for a Full Time Secretary to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.
• Work the front office greeting visitors, students, and parents.
• Answer incoming calls.
• Process student applications and enroll new students.
• Answer phones, take notes, refer them to related individual on timeProcess incoming and outgoing mailProofread school correspondence, website information, etc.Maintain student information in School DatabaseKeep, maintain, and update student files.Distribute incoming mailTake and distribute accurate messages for faculty/staffCreate, maintain, and update various forms and spreadsheetsEnroll and re-enroll students when the Director, Dean of Academics are not available.Withdraw students as necessaryCompose correspondence and inter-office communicationsScreen visitors entering the buildingServe as liaison between Director, other departments, and general publicCommunicate effectively with students in the school and all members of the school staff; Greeting and directing visitorsTour parents and visitors when needed

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office of Google Suite

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Clean Background Check

Compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience.
